We read everything sent to the newsroom email. Correction requests are reviewed within two business days; pitches usually receive a reply within a week when we want to pursue them. General reader questions are answered as capacity allows — a lack of reply is never a judgment on the question.
What not to send
Please do not send unsolicited attachments from unknown senders in your first message; describe the material and we will arrange a secure way to receive it. Do not send anything unlawful. If your tip involves an imminent threat to safety, contact emergency services first — then tell us.
